I have known Matt (Mad Dog) for well over 25 years and he’s a dear friend to me and my family and we consider him family . That being said, Matt is one of the most knowledgeable plumbers I know and am glad to recommend him to my customers who come in my store owner Christ plumbing supply ) . Matt does all my plumbing work in my home and even has the keys and code to my home . He is the most trustworthy honest by the book person you will ever meet and will not bend bow break give up or give in ! Granted he’s not the cheapest plumber around but if you want a man who stands behind everything he does and will never walk away from a job even if it costs him money . That is priceless in today’s day and age how many people can say that about another individual ? . Matt is not afraid to tackle challenging jobs as a matter of fact he fixes other (professional master plumbers ) screwed up work . A word to the wise he will bend over backward to help you and give you the highest quality work but just don’t mistake kindness for weakness as I said Matt is a straight shooter and does not tolerate B.S ! Matt Sweeney is truly a Master Plumber.
I woke up one Saturday morning in February a few years ago to the smell of burning plastic.
The wires going the controls of my gas fired furnace were on fire.
I was able to
extinguish the fire and turn off the gas to my furnace.
Married with two young kids at the time this was a big problem and the house was getting colder by the minute.
That's when I called Matt he came right over to access the situation.
I had gotten to know Matt thru the Floral Park Titans Football program both our sons played on the same team. Matt informed me the furnace will need to be replaced.
He also informed me that I was going to be his helper. He ordered the all the piping and new furnace from a local plumbing supply house and we went to work the next day dismantling
the old furnace. When the piping and furnace arrived I watched Matt go to work
meticulously
constructing the new furnace a true master of his craft. It's been several years since that cold Saturday in February and the furnace is still working great like the first day it was installed.
